Ladies Matchplay Championships
The 2025 Matchplay Champions for the Ladies have been decided.
A Grade was a hard fought contest with the experience of Marg Dickinson prevailing over our Club Champion, Bronte Eppelstun, 2/1. In a great contest it was Marg that was able to come away the victor. None the less a great year by Bronte winning her 2nd Ladies Club Championship which highlights the consistency of Marg to continue to win title after title.
B Grade saw Marion Edmonds have a 5/3 win over Sandra Pearson. The score line didn’t portray the match the ladies had but after winning the B Grade Championships, Marion successfully took home the double with the Matchplay Champs as well.
In C Grade it was Beryl Robinson, winning her first Championship here at Catalina with a close win over Sandra McCamley. The match went to the 18th but it was Beryl that was able to get over the line.
Congratulations to all the winners, but also to each of the qualifiers that made it to the Matchplay Finals.
