Men’s Foursomes Championship

On a day that started with light drizzle, it turned out to be a perfect day for golf for the 2025 Men’s Foursomes Championship.

Including a hole out eagle on the 15th, it was James Dickinson and Alex Booth that took the 2025 title with a cumulative score of 107, 1 under par for the 27 holes to defeat 2 time defending Champions, Bill Eppelstun and Keith Tompsett by 6 shots.

In the A Grade net it was Course Superintendant, Darcy Jones and his partner Tom Nichols who defeated Michael & Daniel Cook on a countback with 107 nett across the 27 holes.

In B Grade we saw Ian Tompsett and Dylan Williams defend their 2024 title to win by 2 shots from Stephen Lancaster and Murray Karlson.

B Grade Nett Champions for 2025 are a pair that have been playing for many years together, Geoff Thornthwaite and Norm Vine, who finally put their differences aside and concentrated on their golf to win by ½ of a shot from Gaston De Bressac and Michael Johnston.

Overall it was a great day for such a premier event on the Catalina calendar with 70 pairs competing on the day.
