Par 3 Championships return in 2026
The Men’s and Ladies Par 3 Championships was held on Sunday 12 April with a shotgun start at 10:30am. A full field of over 130 players enjoyed a perfect day of weather and with the course shortened to holes ranging from 70mt – 178mt, the day was always going to throw up a few unusual challenges.

In the Men’s, it was the evergreen Sean Harrison who managed the course the best with an even Par 54 to take the Men’s Championship. He won by 2 shots from Derek Melton, with Phil O’ Toole and Alex Booth a further shot back.

Phil won the Men’s Nett event with a score of 54 Nett.

In the Ladies it was Sandy McKenzie with 63 off the stick, taking the Ladies Championship, narrowly tipping out Marg Dickinson on 64.

The Ladies Nett winners was won by one of the oldest competitors in the field, Marg Sinclair, showing that age is certainly no barrier in this game. Marg had a great day out and signed for a great score of 46 nett, winning by 4 shots from fellow Veteran, Robyn Kennedy.

The day saw a great atmosphere on the course and inside the Clubhouse after golf, congratulations to all that played, now all players can finish their preparations for the upcoming Men’s and Ladies Club Championships in May.
