The Division 1 team delivered a dominant performance against Pambula-Merimbula at Moruya yesterday, securing a place in the final. They will now face the Far South Coast team from Tura Beach at Bermagui Country Club this Sunday.

Pambula-Merimbula started strongly and held early leads in all matches, but the Catalina team soon found their rhythm and surged home to record an impressive 5–0 victory.

The Division 2 team travelled to Pambula-Merimbula last Sunday and came agonisingly close to pulling off a major upset, narrowly going down 3–2 to the home side. Three matches were decided on the 18th hole, highlighting just how tight the contest was.

The standout moment of the day was Derek Melton’s hole-in-one on the long par-3 4th hole. Derek used his trusty 7-wood to cover the 188 metres.

The Division 1 team will play Tura Beach this Sunday at 8:30am at Bermagui Country Club. It would be a great morale boost for the team to see as many members and supporters there as possible.
